Looking for a no-fuss, comfortable accommodation in Italy? Then book a night or two at Benbo, Italy's first capsule hotel. Located inside the premises of Naples International Capodichino Airport, it's the perfect for on-the-go passengers looking for a simple place to stay for the night.

This whole venture is the result of the collaboration of BenBo and Dorelan. "To grant value to time, comfort and rest," said their mission statement.

This type of accommodation is brilliant for business travelers, backpackers, and travelers that are not willing to spend a fortune a night in swanky hotels. And because BenBo is located right inside the airport, you won't have to worry about the traffic and travel time getting to the airport-saving you hours in getting to your flight.

Benbo consists of 42 "capsule" rooms, which looks like a "little colored house with a smart television, a bed, a desk to read or work on a computer, air conditioning and a docking station to charge a phone, PC or tablet," according to reports. These housing units are about 4m², and two of the rooms are designated for disabled people.

A first in Italy, this type of service might hit the airports of Rome, Bergamo, and Palermo as well. ''The idea comes from an elaboration of capsule rooms at Tokyo's airport, but it is the only experiment in Italy for the moment," said Carlotta Tartarone, project manager at Studiotre. "We chose Naples because it is our city, but we are already in contact with the airports of Rome, Bergamo and Palermo to export the model."

Capsule hotels in airports are starting to become more popular. The first "pod-type accommodation" in airports is Nine Hours, located in the Narita Airport in Tokyo. It's designed for passengers on connecting flights looking for a more comfortable space to relax while waiting for their flights.
