The 27-year old popular "Fifty Shads Darker" actress Dakota Johnson is going to make another drama in the 1927 Supreme Court notorious case entitled "Unfit." Aside from being one of the lead stars, she is also one of the executive producers of the film which will fall under her Silhouette Productions together with Brett Ratner and John Cheng of RatPac Entertainment.

Johnson will be playing the life of Carrie Buck- a woman in 1920s who will fight for her right of becoming a mother during the time when it was still legal in Virginia to sterilize the undesirable citizens. It was a law ordered by the American justice system during those times.

The film's story was generally based on the Adam Cohen's book "Imbeciles: The Supreme Court, American Eugenics, and the Sterilization of Carrie Buck", Daily Mail reported.

Further, Melissa London Hilfers, who was once a litigation lawyer will pen the script of the film. She was hired by the Amazon Studios which was also known to have won the bid for the movie.

The movie's synopsis will entirely center on the not-so-distant past in America wherein it has been controlled by political movement that promised to eliminate the "unfit" from their country. The film is a true story about a young Virginian woman who became a lightning rod to this movement.

As per Entertainment Weekly, Johnson told the reporters that she was not surprised how shocking and mesmerizing those events were in the American history. She even became quickly obsessed with the chance of shedding light on what was known as a mistake in the American justice.

Apparently, Buck's story is very much emotional and enticing. This film will bring forth the real scenario of the relationship between the government and the women of today. As Johnson added, the film is very much timely.
