The fans can now smile with relief after its lead star has returned for filming. "Maze Runner: Death Cure" is resuming production after being deferred indefinitely. Dylan O'Brien, the lead actor has now totally recovered from a motorcycle accident that almost claimed his life. Now production is being set again.

The film production was halted following O'Brien's accident where he suffered life-threatening injuries in March 2016. The young actor took nine month before he recovered because of the reconstruction surgery to bring back his normal face.

After a while, fans were told that the young actor will recover fast. However, as days go by the seriousness of his injuries needed him to undergo surgery.

In addition to O'Brien being on hiatus, the film's Canadian set was closed. Authorities shut down the production set because of the failure of the producers to ensure the safety of its workers. Because of this, the resumption of the filming will be done in South Africa.

So when will "Maze Runner 3: Death Cure" resume production? Well it should be soon as it is expected to hit the theaters on January 12, 2018. Originally, it was scheduled on February 17, 2017.

Moviepilot reported that Patricia Clarkson revealed that the set has relocated to Cape Town, South Africa. She has already received the script. The same with Barry Pepper who tweeted that he has already received his script last February. He teased that the locations are amazingly breathtaking.

Teen Vogue reported that a reunion of the cast happened after O'Brien has reported to the set. The cast has some bonding moment before the filming begin.

Fans can keep their fingers crossed that nothing untoward happens again. "Maze Runner 3: Death Cure" has less than a year to shoot to be on-time for its release in January 2018.
