"Love Actually" sequel has just released a new batch of photos which definitely enticed the hearts of the fans. Producer Emma Freud made a preview of its sequel production on the newest 20-minute short, which has a title of "Red Nose Day Actually" and shared series of snap shots which were taken that featured the return of the actor Hugh Grant and Martine McCutcheon who already filmed their scenes over the weekends.

It featured the new role of Hugh Grant being Prime Minister David in the sequel. He will be the fictional head of the British government in this 2003 romance. There was also a photo of McCutcheon who will play as David's wife in the sequel.

For more than 14 years of the sequel release, most of the film's on-screen characters made a comeback this time and they are going to reprise their roles, Entertainment Weekly reported.

The returning characters will include Liam Neeson, Andrew Lincoln, Keira Knightley, Colin Firth, Lucia Moniz, Bill Nighy, Marcus Brigstocke, Olivia Olson, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, and Rowan Atkinson. Further, Richard Curtis together with Mat Whitecross also steps back into the director's chair this time.

"Red Nose Day Actually" is expected to debut as part of the UK charity Comic relief's biennial comedy fund raiser. Further, it is also set to air on March 24 in the UK and will have a later airing in the US on May 25 by NBC.

As per Deadline, Emma Thompson also stated previously that she wouldn't be joining the sequel this time since it will be too sad for her to film a project without the presence of the late Alan Rickman.

This sequel was known to be built upon the foundation that mass media and celebrities will be able to help raise money and awareness of poverty in order to save and change millions of lives.
