The body of an mother from Oklahoma City, Ebony Jackson, who went missing in St. Louis, Missouri was found in the trunk of a car.

Myfox8.com reported that Jackson's car was found in North St. Louis in the 4400 block of Elmbank on Tuesday morning. Jackson went missing on Thursday.

Her daughter, who is 3-months-old was found safe on Friday inside an apartment complex in Breckenridge. It's not clear why her baby was in the apartment complex. Myfox8.com reported that she was was visiting friends in St. Louis but she lived in Oklahoma.

"Now we know that there is no doubt that Ebony was in the St. Louis area," said a family member to News9.com "That removed the doubt that was planted there."

Another family member said, "It's just totally out of character for her to be in a neighborhood like this, or just the car being in a neighborhood like this."

News9.com reported that she had a "stormy relationship" with the father of her child. Jackson's boyfriend in St. Louis is trying to bring the child back to Oklahoma.

According to the Oklahoma City Police, Jackson also has an arrest history there. News9.com reported that she had been arrested in Oklahoma City three times since 2005, including an assault and battery on a police officer.

She was arrested on November 27, 2012 in Oklahoma City for using her son's stroller to steal merchandise from Wal-Mart. She was also caught stealing at a Dillards Department store.

Her family also claims that Jackson had brain injuries that led her to not remember things.

Police are currently inspecting her death and her family thinks foul play was involved.
