It is not the fail Oscar announcement that has been getting criticisms from the people. Oscar host Jimmy Kimmel is also getting a piece of angry reactions for making jokes on "non-white" names last Sunday.

Evening Standard has reported that people were outraged when he first commented on eventual Oscar winner Mahershala Ali's name. He made fun of him after he won the Best Supporting Award for his performance as Juan in "Moonlight."

During Ali's speech, he mentioned that the Oscar is not the only great thing he head. He also mentioned that his wife just gave birth to her beautiful daughter.

To light things up, Kimmel thought that it would be a great joke if he would suggest a name for the baby. He said that Ali and his wife are having trouble naming her.

With this act, Telegraph reported that some people were disappointed that the joke devalues "Moonlight's" win. The movie also won Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Picture.

Some even asked why people are just noticing this now as part of Kimmel's daily comedic routine. A Twitter user named Alex Medina pointed out that he kept on doing this in his own show.

But it is not just Ali who got the "distasteful" joke from the late night show host. When an Asian woman who was part of the tour bus was asked for her name, Kimmel acted confused on how to pronounce her name. When he asked for the Asian women's boyfriend's name (his name is Patrick), he then proclaimed his name is a real one.

New York Times have reported that people are thinking of making fun of names was being dealt for the longest time. With this, they said that Kimmel is propagating "casual racism" at the Oscars.

Looks like Kimmel is not going to escape criticisms even if he brought laughs to audience like having the Oscar Edition Mean Tweets and the usual comedic trope of having feud with Matt Damon. So far, Kimmel has not addressed the issue.
