"The Lion King" is one of the Disney's classics in 1994, is about to have its live-action remake very soon. It was announced recently that its live-action makeover will cast new members and it is expected to be a very amazing film. Donald Glover and James Earl Jones are among the stars that are eyed to star on the film.

According to the movie director Jon Favreau, there will be a returning character on this upcoming remake and everyone is pretty excited about it. He also revealed on his Twitter post that one of the legendary stars are about to join the official casts which is identified as James Earl Jones. He is going to reprise the role of Mufasa which he originally played in the 1994 animated movie. Jone's voice is definitely suitable with the character and apparently, "The Lion King" wouldn't be complete without him, Glamour reported.

Another character that has been known with the film is Simba. This role will be played by Donald Glover, who is a community star and rapper at the same time. He is going to portray the most favorite lion-cub turned lion king. Apparently, Favreau also had directed films like "The Jungle Book" which grossed almost $1 billion. This goes to show that the upcoming live-action remake might also do the same on the big screen.

Despite the remake and makeover of the classic film, its story about Lion King will always remain the same. It will always feature a young lion called Simba who is going to follow the footstep of his father and as well become the king of the Pride Lands. Further, the story will also show Mufasa who will be murdered by Simba's uncle and the story will go into something deeper, US Blasting News reported.
