Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie divorce dominated the headlines when she filed for divorce in September following an altercation on board a private jet. Pitt has reportedly physically abused their eldest son, Maddox Jolie Pitt.

Angelina Jolie filed for divorce with irreconcilable differences as the reason as reported by CNN. She alleged that she can no longer stand the way her husband was dealing with the kids.

The filing was followed by a series of smearing each other's reputation. The "World War Z" actor filed for custody of the children after Jolie filed that she will be given the sole physical custody of the minors. The court ruled out a temporary custody arrangement where the children stay with their mother and Pitt can have supervised visits on regular intervals.

Lately, the Brad Pitt and Angelina divorce has arrived at a truce and even agreed to hire a private judge to hear their cases. Then the couple became civil to each other hoping that it could hasten the resolution of their cases.

Angelina Jolie after some time of evading the public finally shared some insights about the divorce and her family. In an interview with BBC World News, she was asked where she will be five years from now. She answered; she hopes that "she is just standing" as reported by Hollywood Gossip. She seems to imply that after the separation and single-handedly rearing her children, she must still stand up.

She revealed that perhaps she will be traveling from one country to another visiting them while they are doing their own thing. Jolie also said that it is not in Hollywood but in different parts of the world. The "By the Sea" actress-director also said that she wants to project a good image to her children.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie divorce has separated the once happy family but the actress wants to ensure that they continue being family no matter what happens. Hopefully, if they can no longer live as husband and wife, at least they can be good parents to their children.
