"Big Little Lies" started with a bang. They started off the series with unexpected events wherein it sets off a crime scene on its first episode There were police lights flashing as well as caution tape in the area and there were also deceased victims and testimonies from the witnesses which talked about what really went down during that night.

Kelley, who has been an executive producer of "Goliath" and the upcoming TV adaptation of Stephen King's "Mr. Mercedes" talked about the premiere of this show and revealed that he made certain changes in adapting the book this time, as per Hollywood Reporter.

Further, the show will try to explore more on love and relationships, friendships as well as with loneliness. The opening scenes will reveal a murder mystery but somehow Kelly hopes that viewers will look beyond what these scenes will portray.
