Lindsay Lohan has finally announced recently that she is planning to sing again after a decade that she had released her last solo single. However, this time, she wanted to sing as Ariel in the Disney's live-action movie "The Little Mermaid" where she personally wanted Bill Condon to direct the film.

She first portrayed a role in a theatrical movie in 2013 which was entitled "Scary Movie 5". This 30-year old actress and vocalist was able to post various photos on her Instagram account which featured herself as Ariel from the Disney's 1989 hit "The Little Mermaid" where she try to asked the Disney production to consider her for the movie remake, Entertainment Weekly reported.

As per Instagram post, she captioned it that she wanted to sing again as Ariel if Disney will approve Condon to direct it. She was further referring to the Oscar-winning screenwriter and director who also had worked on films like "Chicago", "Dreamgirls", and "Gods and Monsters". Condon also directed the most popular film recently which is also a live-action interpretation of "Beauty and the Beast" which will hit theatres by March 17.

On the other hand, Disney is going to place altogether an all-star team which will write the music for this live-action film remake. They will also feature the multi-Tony Award winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda together with multi-Oscar winning composer Alan Menken, as per Broadway World.

Further, the music which will also be used for this project was being described as remix of the pre-existing songs from the 1989 Disney film. This live-action remake will be produced by Marc Platt together with Miranda. On the other hand, Disney hasn't revealed yet the casting of the film though Lohan really wanted to grab the character of Ariel in this upcoming Disney film. Meanwhile, this was not the first time for the actress to be in a Disney film since she has starred into several ones on the previous years.
