Recently, the BAFTA awards red carpet bring together big talents and statement gowns and suits. And apparently, "La La Land" won big at the awards night and they took the top honor winning the best picture, best director, best actress, cinematography, and original music at Royal Albert Hall in London last night.

Further, the royal couple, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Kate added glamour to the red carpet as they arrived from the Kensington Palace which is only a few blocks away just before the ceremony started. Prince William, being the president of BAFTA, the British Academy of Film and Television Awards since 2010, presented the fellowship award to comedian Mel Brooks during the ceremony, ABC News reported.

Both the duke and duchess had fully supported the BAFTA activities and as well as the first time for them to attend the ceremony together. Meanwhile, Emma Stone, who bagged an acting award, was praised by her co-actor Ryan Gosling and director Damien Chazelle before she had her acceptance speech in acknowledging the artistic community.

She was dressed in Chanel beaded outfit as she walked on the red carpet without a coat. She also stopped to sign some autographs and pose for photos. She also won the Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild award and she was even selected as the heavy favorite for the Oscar for best actress.

On the other hand, Stone also added that working on the film was one of the greatest working experiences of her life and she had thanked BAFTA for bringing the industry together again to celebrate the positive gift of creativity.

Further, director Damien Chazelle's movie "La La Land" definitely dominated the awards night. The triumph they had maintained the musical's momentum throughout the year's award season. Composer Justin Hurwitz scored "La La Land" first award for bagging best original music and Linus Sandgren also won for BAFTA's film cinematography, Variety reported.
