Amidst a terrifying all-terrain vehicle accident, Jamie Lynn Spear's daughter Maddie has left the hospital on Friday. She went home in order to continue her recovery despite the bruises on her neck. It has been confirmed by Spears on her recent Twitter post while also sharing a photo of the family leaving together via helicopter.

Jamie Watson, Spears's husband, also praised all those who had helped them toward his step daughter's recovery. He sent thank you messages to the first responders and medical teams at the University and Children's Hospital in New Orleans, Los Angeles. Watson also wrote on his Instagram that they are already heading home together with their baby girl, USA Today reported.

He also added that above all else, they were thankful for each and every prayer since it all had greatly made a difference. On the other hand, Britney Spears, Maddie's pop star aunt also posted on her Twitter that she was grateful that her niece already went home and for her, it was a miracle.

It was reported that last Sunday, Maddie had been driving an ATV on her family's property when she overcorrected and wound up in a pond. It was due to her attempt of avoiding the drainage trench. She instantly became submerged into the water right before the eyes of her family according to the official statement by Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Department.

Further, Maddie was in all smiles as she was leaving the hospital on Friday. It was evident as Watson posted a photo of the 8-year old girl in the helicopter. It was a miracle when their daughter woke up while breathing on her own and the Doctors were able to remove the ventilator last Tuesday according to the family's spokesperson. They also added that there was no apparent neurological damage on the little girl, TMZ reported.
