Taylor Swift is not Taylor Swift if she is predictable. Tom Hiddleston's ex-flame has a way of surprising her fans with everything she does. Her love life is oftentimes full of surprises.

Hollywood Life reported that during her pre-Super Bowl performance in Houston on February 4, she announced that she will not be releasing a new album in 2017. She informed, "As far as I know this is the only show I'll play in 2017." She also added. "By coming to this show tonight you are attending 100% of this year's tour dates."

However, she did not say that she will not be dropping an album. But it follows that if she drops a follow-up to her 2014's phenomenal "1989," it is impossible that she will not perform to promote the songs.

It is Taylor's regular schedule to release a new album every third quarter of the year. Her fans are expecting another one this year but her fans will be waiting longer for the next one. But her recent announcement was totally unexpected.

What will Calvin Harris' ex-girlfriend do with her time this year? Stay tuned for updates on the content of her calendar this year. She is not for sure prioritizing her love life as no new man was reported to have captured her heart. As her BFF Lena Dunham has shared about her series of relationships, dating in the limelight is not winnable according to People.

Meanwhile, relieve her awesome pieces releases this year like "Blank Space," "22," "I Knew You Were Trouble," and "Style." Her other songs are equally amazing like "I Don't Wanna Live Forever," "You Belong With Me," "Love Story," "This Is What You Came For," "Better Man," and many more.

What makes her announcement surprising is that Taylor Swift gave no hint of it last year. Hopefully, it is just a break to focus on her music just like what Ed Sheeran did. And when he came back he released two hit songs that never leave the no. 1 and no. 2 slots in the charts.
