Adults who grew up in the 80s and 90s will be brought back to memory lane as a talented animator recreated the original opening theme of the "Pokemon" anime in 3D. It's highly unlikely, though, that the anime will be recreated in 3D as well.

According to a report from ComicBook, the video was made by YouTube channel QuickDrawCreate, which shows its viewers how they are able to animate certain characters from movies or TV shows that are created by Disney, Dreamworks, and Pokemon. Their recent creation is able to capture the entire opening, from the beginning that shows Mewtwo and Mew until the end where Ash throws a Poke Ball.

The report adds that seeing Pokemon in 3D is a "real treat to see," though some of the humans in the video look weird, which is an effect of converting 2D to 3D. The report also said that what makes this video extra special is that the creator used the same software that Disney and other big animation company uses when creating 3D.

This is isn't the first Pokemon video that QuickDrawCreated, as their YouTube channel contains several more. The likelihood, though, of recreating the original "Pokemon" anime series in 3D is very low, according to a report from Corey Chichizola of CinemaBlend.

Chichizola said that, though it would be nice and special to rewatch the original episodes of the "Pokemon" anime series in 3D, it would require huge amounts of budget to do so. Producing each 30-minute episode of the series in 3D is expensive to do.

Nevertheless, Chichizola said the "Pokemon" theme has brought back great memories of the 90s. And the 3D remake of it has made it extra special. Check out the video below to view the 3D version of the original "Pokemon" anime series opening theme.
