The news was made official by HBO Programming President that "Westworld" season 2 is coming back for its season renewal. Fans of the synthetic Oaters can now celebrate since the show will be heading back this year but not later on 2018.

There will be returning character as the show will have to make its renewal but there hasn't a confirmation yet. It looks as if "Man in Black" will be staying a bit longer and even Robert Ford has anticipated it. There was also a prospect about making more episodes and Harris confirmed that he was talking about it to Jonah Nolan who was also a creator of this thing together with his wife Lisa Joy, and definitely affirmed that they will be doing another season, Den of Geek reported.

Probably, the creator will be doing ten more episodes for "Westworld." Further, for the upcoming release date, HBO has yet to keep as to when the series will fall. However, early speculations had revealed that the show might hit the screen on October 2017, but it turns out that its premiere date will likely be much further away.

According to Bloys, his suspicion will be sometime in 2018 and yet they do not have the exact date still and the team still is going to map it out and write the scripts for it as well. On the other hand, Leonardo Nam might be at the center of Maeve's character as it did escape on the season one of "Westworld". According to Nam, he was also still in the dark just as how audiences were, ET Online reported.

Further, the story of the upcoming season is somewhat mysterious. But the creator affirmed that the show is closer to becoming more biological than mechanical. They also added that they had already broken down the episodes for the second season at New York Comic Con which they attended on October 2016.
