It's the "Year of the Rooster", and "Overwatch" is celebrating! The anticipated "Year of the Rooster" event is finally live, and update 2.03 brings not only that but also bug fixes and a lot of updates and tweaks.

Tech-Mic, the new patch for PS4, Xbox One and PC versions hit today. This update is based on the Seasonal event based on the Chinese New Year, and other changes are included, too. Patch 2.03 includes Roadhog's hook that was o public test weeks ago.

Blizzard already teased the update last week, but they only just confirmed it today. A lot of great looking skins are available that players can collect. "Overwatch" update 2.03 also includes Highlight Intros, emotes, sprays, victory poses, and voice lines - which can be acquired via special loot boxes that will only appear during the duration of this event. But all the event items can also be purchased using gold coins.

Now specifically for the "Year of the Rooster," players will be allowed to play Blizzard's version of Capture the Flag mode. This is a new game mode for the "Year of the Rooster" event.

"Overwatch" update 2.03 tweaks include the "Stay As Team" button lighting up every time a member of the team presses the button. This would definitely make team play better because players can easily determine if the others would want to stay as a team. Another tweak added is the shorter cooldown time for crouch, which means players can now crouch more frequently.

Meanwhile, Metro reported that "Overwatch" has already reached 25 million copies since its launch in June last year. Some gamers attribute this to the game consistently generously giving free updates. This kind of success usually calls for a sequel, and a lot of players have already asked for it, but Blizzard has not made this clear yet.
