Netflix has already confirmed previously that "Narcos" will go on even after Pablo Escobar's death, since it has already confirmed months ago that the show has been renewed for a Season 3 and Season 4. Now, fans are excited to know how the storyline about the drug cartel would go.

OK! reported that Season 3 and 4 will be anytime this year, and that "Narcos" Season 3 will now focus on a new villain - the Cali Cartel.  Cali Cartel founders Rodríguez Orejuela brothers, Gilberto and Miguel, and José Santacruz Londoño broke away from Pablo Escobar and his Medellin associates.

But other reports say that the show will focus on the story of the Mexican drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman and the Sinaloa Cartel, Stars Post said. The official Facebook account of "Narcos" just recently teased the possible plotline for the crime web television series. Also, it said that "El Chapo" Guzman will be featured in the series renewal.

Fans wanted to know how long the series will run, and Eric Newman has made it clear that he wants to continue the series until cocaine dealing stops. "The blow must go on. Pablo might be dead but the war is not over," the show's official tweet said.

"The drug trade is something so important to talk about and Pablo Escobar is just the beginning of it. Having "Narcos" after Pablo and having the show strong enough to keep going, it's very important, not only artistically because it's a show that's original and cool, but it's also a very political show," Wagner Moura (Pablo Escobar) said.

Newman said that the show's new villains are posing dangers not only because they are working under the government. He added that even though Escobar died, the war is not yet over and that "Narcos" Season 3 story will only become more intense.
