Fans of one of the most popular series in the "Dragon Ball" universe is in for a treat as the DVD and Blu-Ray releases of "Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters" just got announced. Those who have missed some of the few episodes and want to revisit some of the greatest episodes in the revision will finally get their chances.

Based from a recent report from Comic Book, fans will get to watch the missed episodes from "Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters" later this year. Funimation's listings have already been updated, adding the Blu-Ray and DVD versions of the bundled episodes available for pre-order.

According to Funimation, The Final Chapters will be housing episodes 99-121. This is where Goku and the gang will be facing Majin Buu onwards. This was a few years after Goku defeated Cell. After the Z fighters have returned to their normal lives. Goku and his old time friends, on the other hand, got busy preparing for the upcoming World Martial Arts Tournament.

This was until Babidi, an evil wizard arrived and brought a monster in the form of Majin Buu. The Supreme Kai requested assistance from Goku and his friends to thwart the Babidi's evil plans in finally awakening what would be Earth's worst nightmare.

"Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters" also has a number of extra content and features like commentary tracks and the non-credit versions of the anime's opening and ending themes. The DVD retail is priced at $50, while the Blu-Ray version is $55 and both of the bundles are scheduled to be released on Apr. 25 2017.

"Dragon Ball Z Kai" is also known in Japan as "Dragon Ball Kai" is the remake of the original DBZ series. It started broadcasted in Japan in in 2009 and aired from the Saiyan Saga up to the Evil Buu Saga in 2015.
