Just a few months after "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" got released and made some noise among the fans who have always followed the manga, anime and videogame titles, Bandai Namco made another big announcement regarind a Nintendo Switch release for it. This will allow fans and players to play the game on-the-go and on a bite-sized screen for portability.

According to a report from Nintendo-Insider, Bandai Namco made a follow-up announcement after the Nintendo Switch Presentation and it was a couple of games they are gearing up for the release of the latest console. The games happen to be "Taiko Drum Master," another "Tales of" game and finally the Switch version of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."

The latest iteration of the game was considered one of the biggest games to ever carry its namesake and fans are now highly anticipating the release of the game along with Nintendo's hybrid console. However, as reported at COG, the port's function is yet to be clear, especially the way it will be played out with the use of the Joy-con sensors.

The release date hasn't been announced yet, but some features like co-op gameplay have already been identified. Online play is also going to be implemented, though it is highly unlikely to have the same servers with different platforms like the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

In other news, the second DLC pack for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is slated for a February release and it will be including the god of destruction Champa along with his assistant, Vados. These are on top of new attacks, moves and a number of costumes.

The Nintendo Switch is scheduled to be released on March 2017. The games, Bandai Namco have announced, aren't launch titles, making "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" a game still a bit far ahead from getting released. Fortunately, Bandai Namco promised to the fans that more details are going to be released soon enough.
