Fans of ABC's "Once Upon A Time" are wondering what the series' future will be. It has not been renewed yet for a seventh season, and just recently, lead star Jennifer Morrison said that her contract ends in April.

Entertainment Weekly did an interview with ABC Chief Channing Dungey, and he hinted that there will be big changes to the series if it gets renewed. He said that the changes do not mean that they won't be bringing the cast back, but Season 7 will be a "springboard in a new direction from a narrative standpoint." The show's bosses said that change would mean transition, but they added that it's hard to say anything until the pitch is finalized.

If that change would mean that Jennifer Morrison won't be a part of the series anymore, fans would definitely want to know. Morrison confirmed that her contract with "Once Upon A Time" ends in April, and she said she does not really know what that means, TV Guide reported.

"They haven't picked up the show officially yet -- they might, they might not. We are just waiting now to see if the network decides to continue with the show," Morrison said. She added that if that they are currently just in a holding pattern.

Meanwhile, when half of Season 6 returns, Rose McIver is returning as Tinker Bell. Tinker Bell's first appeared on Season 3, when Regina (Lana Parrilla) learned that her soulmate was Robin Hood (Sean Maguire), but later on threatened to kill her in a cave. The show's creators, Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis said that Tinker Bell is integral to Regina discovering her destiny with Robin Hood, so it's only right that when Sean Maguire returns to the show, the fairy would return, too. "Once Upon a Time" will return on March 5.
