In August, it was announced that Nick Viall will lead "The Bachelor" Season 21, even while episode 4 of "Bachelor in Paradise: After Paradise" was still airing.  Viall has been a contestant three times but never actually won, and this time, the 33-year-old software salesman will have another chance at love.

The show premieres on January 2 and Nick Viall is ready to lead it.  According to Variety, Viall said that he is positive about this series and that he "certainly have no regrets." The reality star said that he "definitely found love" and that he is looking forward and "feel good about things."

But the hunk did not say yes right away when the show was offered to him. Viall said it's a huge responsibility, but it's also an incredible opportunity. There are no guarantees in the show, but his family is supportive and excited to watch how his story would unfold.

However, some fans of the show are not very happy that the software executive was chosen to star for Season 21 instead of Luke Pell or Chase McNary - JoJo Fletcher's suitors.  But, host Chris Harrison spoke on Good Morning America and said that it came down to who is more deserving.

"Who is the most sincere? Who have we watched time and time again come on the show to find love and come up short each and every time?" We all just kept coming back to Nick, and it's just crazy enough to work," Harrison explained.

Meanwhile, a sneak peak to "The Bachelor" Season 21 shows a contestant come face to face with Nick Viall and she claims to have had a one night stand with him, but he seemed to not recognize her.  The contestant, Elizabeth 'Liz' Sandoz, said that she is nervous and curious if Viall will figure out who she is and if he will remember what happened that night, Daily Mail reported.
