Fans are baffled about this because they are certain that Darth Vader did not know that Luke Skywalker is his son in "Star Wars: A New Hope." For fans, they may have heard of the film lore that Queen Amidala was made to look pregnant at her funeral to give the impression that Anakin Skywalker's children had died with their mother.

Fans also would want to find out what happened to Darth Vader after "Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith." Yup, viewers who did not even watch the film now that Anakin Skywalker is a respectable Jedi who turned to the dark side.
