‘Star Wars’ Fans Want A Darth Vader Spin-Off, Critics Think That Darth Vader Spin-Off Is Unnecessary

Darth Vader has always been an enigma in the "Star Wars" franchise. Many fans has always wanted a spin-off for the masked villain. There are still questions that needs answer that fans can quite figure out. True, "Star Wars" Episode 1 to 3 may have explained how Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader but there are still things fans need to figure out about the masked villain, making them hungry for a spin-off about him.

According to MovieWeb, fans are dying to find out how in the world did Darth Vader found out that Luke Skywalker is his son. Fans are baffled about this because they are certain that Darth Vader did not know that Luke Skywalker is his son in "Star Wars: A New Hope." For fans, they may have heard of the film lore that Queen Amidala was made to look pregnant at her funeral to give the impression that Anakin Skywalker's children had died with their mother.

Fans also would want to find out what happened to Darth Vader after "Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith." Yup, viewers who did not even watch the film now that Anakin Skywalker is a respectable Jedi who turned to the dark side.

People are dying to find out what made him angrier in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." According to the site, Anakin Skywalker is fueled by an intense anger that's greater than what he had in the third episode of the "Star Wars" franchise. This made fans more curious as to what might have happened that fueled this intense rage inside the villain.

Despite the fan ravings, Movie Pilot does not think that a Darth Vader spin-off is necessary for the franchise. The site explained that in "Star Wars" Episode 1 to 3, Anakin Skywalker became nothing but a "lovelorn and whiny protagonist."

Thanks to "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," Skywalker aka Darth Vader once again became the most menacing character in the "Star Wars" universe. If fans cannot get enough the masked villain, Travelers Today reported that fans can see Darth Vader in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" today.
