The sixth season of "Game of Thrones" left viewers with a glimpse of Sansa Stark, sharing a quite suspicious look with Littlefinger as her half-brother Jon Snow is named King in the North. Actress Sophie Turner - who plays the eldest Stark daughter - speaks about the momentous scene, and also discloses tidbits on what fans can expect from her character in season 7 of "Game of Thrones."

In an interview with Vulture, the 20-year-old actress did not mince words, admitting that Sansa has felt slighted by the Northern alliances' diss. She could have been Queen of the North, or ruled side-by-side with Jon Snow, but is relegated to be an onlooker in the latter's coronation.

"She feels like it's deserved because she did so much for Jon and the North, so when she saves the day and doesn't get any recognition for it, it was like she had that first taste of power and then was immediately stripped of it." She goes on to explain her meaningful look with Littlefinger was her way of saying "Oh, you're right. Maybe that pretty picture you painted of me on the throne and you by my side isn't such a bad one."

It's interesting to see how this will play out in season 7, as viewers might recall that Littlefinger initially wanted to team up with Sansa but the latter dismissed the thought. As Sarah Terry of Yahoo reports, Turner disclosed that Sansa's "playing the game now, and very ruthlessly. When she wants something, she's going to go out and get it."

This "it" could very well pertain to the throne, and this darker side of Sansa is not above betraying her brother if the need arises. Turner did not disclose further details but she did admit that the patriarchy and sexism makes it difficult for Sansa to work with Jon Snow to be a collaborative leader. "It would be a real adjustment for Jon to listen to her and do what she says."

"Game of Thrones" is still seven months away from returning to screens in the summer of 2017, but fans have been already been clamoring for  updates on the hit HBO series. Back in September, Travelers Today shared the locations where "Game of Thrones" will be filming for its seventh season.
