"The Fate of the Furious" star Vin Diesel paid a tribute to his estranged friend, the movie franchise's main character, Paul Walker in his Instagram post. The said movie is the eighth installment of the famous car-racing film series and the second without Paul.

In his recent post, Vin recalled Walker years after his tragic accident that shocked the world. He posted a throwback photo of them together during the MTV Awards held in 2002. Both bagged the "Best On-Screen Team" in the said Award body for their original "Fast and the Furious" film, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.

Movie News Guide added the "undeniable chemistry" between the two made their way in winning the said prize. Meanwhile, Diesel wrote a tear-jerking caption for his throwback photo with Walker saying making the "Fate of the Furious" was indeed challenging without his friend around.

Calling him "Pablo" Vin Diesel said Paul Walker gave him strength and purpose as well as resolve. The 49-year old actor also promised to make something that his beloved friend will be proud of and hoped that he has.

He also said he missed him followed by the line made famous by their movie "Family above everything!" Diesel also attached a "#happytorettotuesday" at the end of his post.

Paul Walker left the world after a tragic car accident in November 30, 2013 while almost completing the "Fast and the Furious 7." This has stirred emotions as well as human interest for the 7th installment of the film as per Movie News Guide. The "Fate of the Furious" is set to hit the theaters on April 14, 2017.
