A 17-minute video features a full round of "Friday the 13th: The Game", and it shows a tough and terrifying game of survival. The game feels like an an actual experience set right from the movie itself. It will show how seven camp counselors could escape the series' mainstay villain, Jason Voorhees. IGN gave us a glimpse of the how the game will give players an authentic feel of the "Friday the 13th" film franchise.

The video, according to EuroGamer.net, is from the perspective of one of the camp counsellors, and features live developer chatter. You'll hear players attempting to survive while the police are on their way. The players grab weapons, lock doors, hide under the bed - basically, anything in order to come out alive. Fans wonder, though, if there will be a game that can be played from Jason's perspective.

The storyline is set in Higgins Haven, 1984 and counselors must go through a checklist of tasks to make their escape - like if they want to drive away, they need to acquire a new battery, gasoline, and the car keys. Should you want to make your escape with your friends, you would need to meet up with them in the vehicle. To summarize the game, Bloody-Disgusting said, it looks fun, stressful and very violent.

Jason, by the way, cannot be killed, but he can be stunned. Swinging an axe at him will make him fall over for a few seconds while survivors look for an escape. You get XP points for completing tasks like fixing the phone lines, calling the cops, picking up weapons, and when you barricade doors.

Gun Media already announced that "Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp" was funded through Kickstarter back in 2015 and was set for release this month. Those who took part of the campaign will have an early access to beta before the year ends, which will include a code for keys to make it shareable with 4 friends.
