Famous all-girl group, Fifth Harmony, announced that Camilla Cabello has left the group. The chart-topping group posted on social media about her exit. In a social media post signed by the remaining member, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane Hansen and Normani Kordei.

They collectively write "After four and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony. We wish her well."

Fifth Harmony is an American girl group formed on the second season of The X Factor in July 2012. They released their debut single "Miss Movin' On" after their stint in the show. It was certified gold by the RIAA and was awarded as "MTV Video Music Award for Artist to Watch." Their first studio album called "Reflection" was released on 2015 and rose at top five spot of Billboard 200.

The successful album contained platinum singles "Boss," "Sledgehammer" and "Worth It". This year, they released another album called "7/27" that features a song collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign, the "Work From Home" single became the team's first top 10 single on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

An avalanche of comments pop-up on the girls' Instagram and Twitter account, one said, "Please tell us this is a joke." One comment on Instagram seems intrigued about the way Camilla left saying, "I hate that: 'we have been informed via her representatives.'"

According to Billboard, that Cabello already hinted her interest to work solo during the 7/27 tour which is the first international trek of the group. But insiders suggest that the reason behind Cabello's departure are the tensions between her and the other group members. Her contract ended the day she made a decision to exit the group.

While fans are not happy about the news, the group assured in their lengthy message, "You Harmonizers have been there with us since the beginning, you've supported us, and with your love and support, we will continue on. That being said, we are excited to announce that we will be moving forward with the four of us."
