Michelle Obama took the stage yesterday at the Democratic National Convention, speaking of her husband's acheivements and beliefs. Not only did her speech resonate and triumph, she looked stunning and now everyone wants to know, who she is wearing.

Michelle Obama's dress was a stunning sleeveless pink-orange number custom made by designer, Tracy Reese. She paired the dress with a set of pink pumps from J. Crew. In a testament to her own personal style that is graceful yet stylish, she showcased it perfectly during her speech.

The New York Times stated that even her choice of designer "sent a message." 48-year-old Reese is a native of Detroit who worked her way up in the fashion industry and also happens to be African-American. She attended Parsons School of design in New York in 1982 and after apprenticing at Perry Ellis she created her own successful line in 1988. Reese is known for her bohemian style that is still timeless and classy with girly prints and color.

During an interview with "Inside Edition" Obama said about people looking for a message through her clothing choices, "They do that with everything. People look for the message in everything I wear. So in the end I'm doing what women do. It's like, how do I feel? What looks right? What kind of movement do I need? What's practical when it comes right down to it?"

Obama is a fan of Reese and has worn her clothes before. Once on the cover of People magazine in 2009. Reese's clothing prices are middle grown and similar styles cost approximately $395 to $450 which fits in with the Democtractic sway to the middle class.

Her J.Crew "rhubarb Everly suede pumps" retail for $245.

In contrast, Ann Romney wore an Oscar de la Renta shirtdress at the Republican convention that retails $1,990.
