As Nokia seeks to reclaim its throne on the mobile gadget industry, it was said that the company would release new smartphone models to compete with the existing smartphone brands. Several leaks and rumors about the future release of Nokia rose on the internet. Many Nokia fans are excited to get a glimpse of what Nokia has to offer on their new smartphone release.

According to reports from Gagdets 360 and The Inquirer, Nokia will release new Android smartphones. Leaks say two different models would be released while some say three models are to be released. Two of the said models will be incorporated with the best specifications there is today. The other model is said to be a mid-ranged phone. These smartphones is reprted to be names as Nokia D1C and Nokia P1. More details and update about these phones will be revealed later in the year 2017.

The Nokia D1C is said to be a mid-range phone having a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC and 3GB of RAM. The phone is rumored to have a octa-core chip running at 1.4HGz and a 16MP camera. The DC1 will have 5.5-inch screen size and a 16GB built-in storage. There will also be a lower level version of the DC1 housing a 2GB RAM, 5-inch screen size and a 13MP camera. It's actually not bad for a mid-range phone ranging from $150 for the lower version and $200 for the higher version of the DC1.

Nokia is also said to release the P1 housing amazing specifications to compete most flagship smartphones today. Not much detail is given for the P1 but details such as having a 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch AMOLED displays are revealed. The Nokia P1 will also have a dust and water resistant and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 feature like most flagship smartphones have today.
