"Persona 5" is one of the most highly anticipated games since it was announced for an upcoming release. While the game developers are wrapping up its production, Atlus continues to introduce the central characters of the game including the Futaba Sakura.

The new character was introduced through a new English trailer. "Persona 5" Futaba Sakura is voiced by "Miss Hokusai" Erica Lindbeck. Futaba has impressive computer and hacking skills. Her character is likened to Fuuka of "Persona 3" and Rise of "Persona 4."

Futaba Sakura who is also popularly known as "Hikkimori" is a 15-year-old girl who happens to have poor interpersonal skills resulting into limited human interactions. But she manages to connect with the Phantom Thieves using an "unexpected method."

The trailer focuses on Futaba while another video features an interview with voice actress Lindbeck and Atlus PR Manager, John Hardin. Lindbeck talked about the new Futaba's "Necronomicon" persona. She also said that the Futaba will work with "Persona 5" heroes including Yusuke, Makoto, Ann and Ryuji.

But she will not be directly involved in battles. Instead, she will be at the sidelines and will assist the Phantom Thieves to boost their stats with the help of her Persona. According to Push Square, apart from being a Navigator for the team, fans of "Persona 5" will also see her come out of her shell since she has interpersonal communication skills problem.

According to Asia Starz, there are also added non-playable characters (NPC) who would aid the players to sell products. They will also provide additional assistance to the players so they can enjoy different services. To acquire those services, the protagonists need to establish a relationship with the NPCs.

"Persona 5" is set for release on April 4, 2017, for North America and Europe. Currently, it is available in Japan for PlayStation 4 as well as PlayStation 3.
