It has been weeks since the United States Presidential Elections occurred, with business tycoon and now, United States President-elect Donald J. Trump announced as the winner of the said election. These past few weeks have been very rough for the President-elect, with all the Anti-Trump protests continues across the United States, demonstrators rallying to let everyone know their desire for him to step down.

As stated in an article by Mashable Asia, the President-elect recently uploaded a YouTube video, sharing a Thanksgiving message to all the people. The video's message was quite the opposite of what he tweeted about all his haters and enemies during the holiday last year.

Donald Trump stated in his video that he admits that the bitterness of many people has still not subsided after the grueling election campaigns. According to BBC, Trump spoke "It doesn't go quickly, unfortunately, but we have before us the chance now to make history together to bring real change to Washington, real safety to our cities, and real prosperity to our communities, including our inner cities."

In his video, the President-elect requested that the whole United States of America should stand united as one during this special occasion. "It's my prayer that on this Thanksgiving we begin to heal our divisions and move forward as one country" he said. Donald Trump also announced that he chose South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley for the US ambassador position to the United Nations.

He also chose Betsy DeVos as the secretary of education. However, both people once criticized the President-elect, with Haley saying that she was "not a fan" and stated that she strongly disagrees about Trump's anti-Muslim proposal, and DeVos calling him an "interloper". Trump praised Haley saying she's "a proven dealmaker, and we look to be making plenty of deals". "She will be a great leader representing us on the world stage," Trump added.
