Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman teaser created a buzz after a tweet from ComicBookDebate showed a clip from the teaser and from the 1978 Superman showing what supposed to be similar scene.  The GIF showed both scenarios alongside where the superheroes deflects a bullet intended for their love interest in the movie.  While most superhero movie contains some sort of surprises for its intended audience, this one didn't go unnoticed for so long.

In the tweet the scenes were featured alongside each other so you can view it as one.  By so doing, you just can't miss the resemblances of both acts.  It looks like that the Wonder Woman scene was not just a case of coincidence but was very much intentionally made.

According to Yahoo, a clear look on the clip reveals that not just the "protect the love interest action" was planned, but the action's venue, the sequence lighting and the character costumes, especially true for Diana Prince and Clark Kent evidently showed the traces of similarities.  A clear referencing of Director Patty Jerkins to the beloved 1978 Superman picture.

While we yet have to find out whether Patty Jerkins' referencing to the classic Richard Donner's 1978 Superman was homage to the long-gone superhero, we can expect though that the upcoming movie will be have the same effect on its audience - full of love and emotions, and the wanting to do great things. Wonder Woman's lead actor Gal Gadot, shares the screen with actors Chris Pine who'll play the role of Steve Trevor, Wonder Woman's love interest; Lucy Davis as Etta Candy, Diana Prince's best friend; Connie Nielsen aka Queen Hippolyta, the heroine's mother and Robin Wright as General Antiope, Diana's aunt responsible for her training.

And since both movie portrays the superheroes starring roles we can suspect perhaps more of these in the upcoming Wonder Woman come June 2, 2017.  It's something that all moviegoers must watch out and be quick to tweet.
