Apple Says ‘Hello’ To Three MacBook Pro Variants; Bids Goodbye To MacBook Air

During the Apple 2016 "Hello Again" Event, the tech company has finally unveiled the latest next-generation of its flagship MacBook Pro computers, as reported by Express.co.UK

Apple showcased its all-new redesigned flagship MacBook Pro. The latest computers which sports a Touch Bar, a thin touchscreen strip, as well as a Touch ID fingerprint sensor.

The new MacBook Pro is also the very first Apple laptop to have a Touch ID fingerprint scanner, since its debut on the iPhone way back September 2013, as reported by iTech Post.

According to Express UK, these new MacBook Pro's are available in three variants. There are two 13-inch versions and one 15-inch MacBook Pro with the latest Touch Bar.

The new MacBook Pro highlights its brightest multi-touch Retina display, the smartphone's security through Touch ID®, a bigger Force Touch track pad and an audio system who's dynamic range were doubled, as further explained by Express UK.

As reported in iTech Post, Phil Schiller, Apple Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, said in a statement that, "This week marks the 25th anniversary of Apple's first notebook; through the years each generation has introduced new innovations and capabilities, and it's fitting that this all-new generation of MacBook Pro is the biggest leap forward yet.

"With the groundbreaking new Touch Bar, the convenience of Touch ID, the best Mac display ever, powerful performance, improved audio, blazing fast storage and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity in our thinnest and lightest pro notebook yet, the new MacBook Pro is the most advanced notebook ever made," he added.

During the event, Phil Schiller Schiller walks through all the ways the 13" MacBook Pro which is designed to be the replacement of the MacBook Air and described how the latest notebook is better than the 13" MacBook Air, as described by Express UK..

With the unveiling of the latest generation of MacBook Pros, it might be also tantamount to the death of the MacBook Air.
