A latest release by the U.S. News Travel for their 2012-2013 editions of the best holiday vacations according to type with their ranking lists is been out. 

Destinations including Asia, Australia and the Pacific, Central and South America, Africa and the Middle East are among the toppers on the list.

Best honeymoon destination title is captured by Kauai, Maui and Florence. Some other categories are also identified and ranked according to the top vacation spots based on a methodology that combines expert and consumer opinions.

"This expansion allows us to make comparisons between places as geographically disperse as Bali, Corfu, and Rio de Janeiro. More than 200 destinations were considered in the ranking for the launch of the 2012-2013 U.S. News Best Vacations edition.
