Even the grown-ish adults are excited about Tangled: The Series.

According to ENews, Disney Channel reunites Zachary Levi and Mandy Moore from 2010's Tangled, which is based on the Rapunzel fairy tale, for its new series and based on the new promo things could not be more adorable.

One thing most fans are confused and curious about is Rapunzel's hair. It can be remembered that the movie version of Tangled ended with Flynn/Eugene (Levi) cutting off Rapunzel's (Moore) magical hair just to save her from the evil woman who had kidnapped her. After that moment, her hair became short, brunette and totally cute.

Her hair remained short, brown and cute even in the short film, Tangled Ever After, which aired back in 2012, and narrated the story of Flynn and Rapunzel's wedding. The new series happens in between the events of the film and the 2012 short film, with Rapunzel getting to know her family and Corona's people, since she was kidnapped as a baby.

However, in the short promo, Rapunzel returns with her insanely long, blonde and presumably magical hair. This left most fans certainly confused. Clearly the return of her hair is the point of the said promo, and even Flynn is also surprised by its reappearance. A lot of those who have viewed the short promo have been thinking how this happened. Questions like "How did she get it back?", "How does she lose it again before the wedding?" and "How does magical hair work anyway?" have been raised. Probably, most questions will be answered by the series.

Meanwhile, the show will feature new songs from Academy Award-winning composer Alan Menken and lyricist Glenn Slater, as reported by Coming Soon. Clare Keane, daughter of Disney Legend Glen Keane (who served as an animation supervisor on Tangled), consulted on the series.

Tangled: The Series will have its premiere on Disney Channel in 2017.
