'Avengers: Age of Ultron' will surely be surprised to know that a (relatively) new sneak peek at the second installment of the blockbuster franchise has been leaked online. New York Magazine released a teaser clip of 'Avengers 2,' but instead of showing fans more scenes from the flick, they are treated with a retro-themed clip that could pass as something that really belonged to the '90s.

New York Magazine's 'Avengers: Age of Ultron" sneak peek clip is actually a parody that answers the question: what if the blockbuster franchise was launched in the '90s?

Appropriately titled "If 'Avengers; Age of Ultron' Came Out in 1995," the description of the video reads: "Coming soon to VHS: the hottest, edgiest, explosion-iest action hit of 1995, "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Check out this retro remix courtesy of Louis Plamondon, aka Sleepy Skunk."

According to Vulture, the parody captures the essence of '90s cinematography such that it reminds viewers of how snippets from movies were presented back then.

There's the cheesy voiceover that instead of really allowing the clips to talk on their own, try as much to be heavily overdramatic and intensify the scenarios presented.

Some '90s scenes were also inserted into the teaser trailer like an old clock and a floppy disk. The entire trailer was even tweaked to make all of the scenes really feel old with all the non-HD elements.

The 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' trailer presents the characters/actors one by one with a split-second display of their face followed by their surname in really large bulky letters.

Nevertheless, the parody trailer delivered some laughter to fans of the film who are so into it due to the heavy action scenes. Not only that, it also reminded everyone of the '90s flick vibe that is nowhere up to par to the quality of cinematography being presented at the day and age, according to Fashion & Style.
