'Fifty Shades of Grey' sequel 'Fifty Shades Darker' is rumored to be filming this year, and since the second installment will introduce Christian Grey's former submissive Leila Williams, several sources have leaked the names of the actresses who are in the running for the said role.

The sequel to the hit erotic film is going to introduce a couple of new characters and one of them is Christian Grey's former submissive.

Leila Williams is described as a brunette beauty with brown eyes in the widely successful book. She had a mental breakdown after the death of her previous lover, Geoff.

Since director Sam Taylor-Johnson confirmed that 'Fifty Shades Darker' is going to happen, multiple sources have revealed the names of the actresses who might be portraying the said role.

Per Daily Mail's report, Kris Jenner's daughter Kendall Jenner has a big chance of snagging the role since Taylor-Johnson herself has openly expressed her desire to work with the promising model.

Taylor-Johnson is even reported to be a big fan of 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' and that she simply adores Kendall. Insiders even leaked that the 'Fifty Shades' director wanted Kendall to be part of the first installment of the trilogy, but things happened and the 19-year-old reality star was not considered for any of the roles in the first film.

Apart from Kendall Jenner, there are also other actresses who are rumored to be in the running to portray Leila Williams.

English actress-singer Lily Allen is said to be one of the top picks for the character and MTV News UK even revealed that Allen and Taylor-Johnson were spotted at the Chateau Marmont Hotel on Monday. It isn't certain if they already talked about the role, but insiders claim that this is very likely.

'Arrow' star Katie Cassidy, who is such a big fan of the books, is also seen as a contender for the role. She even hinted about the possibility in a Cosmopolitan interview during New York Fashion Week last year. "You never know what can happen. I'm obviously a fan of the book," Cassidy said.

Finally, just early this week, British model Cara Delevingne's name got dragged into the 'Fifty Shades' series after she shared a video of lead actress Dakota Johnson singing Natasha Bedingfield's 'Unwritten' on Instagram. This quickly gave several news outlets the idea that the two may be working together and that Delevingne is most likely part of the second film.
