'Fifty Shades of Grey' fans will surely love the second installment of the trilogy franchise twice as much as the first one, especially that there are already confirmed details about 'Fifty Shades Darker.' As opposed to previous claims that not all of the books will be adapted for the big screen, there is now confirmation that they are going to happen. Below are the confirmed details about the film:

After 'Fifty Shades of Grey' raked in almost $160 million during its opening weekend, it is not surprising that 'Fifty Shades Darker' is going to happen. Director Sam Taylor-Johnson already confirmed this bit during the film screen in New York early February. Not only that producer Dana Brunetti also hinted about the strong possibility for a sequel during the 2014 Academy Awards.

That said, it's obvious that Taylor-Johnson will continue to be the director of the BDSM-themed sequel. In an interview with NBC, she already confirmed that she's doing the second film, so now fans can guarantee that the movie will get the same treatment that they like in the first installment.

Another reason for fans to rejoice is the fact that Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan will be reprising their roles as opposed to reports that Dornan is bowing out of the franchise because of his marital problems with his wife. In their guesting on "Today," both lead stars confirmed that they are up for the sequels.

On the other hand, while they are keeping Johnson and Dornan, the franchise is saying farewell to screenwriter Kelly Marcel. According to an insider from Universal Pictures, the team working on the franchise have not invited Marcel back to write for the succeeding movies. "It looks like Universal wants to start fresh with the sequel and they don't have anyone specific in mind... every screenwriter's dream," a Tracking Board insider leaked back in July 2014.

So when can fans expect the second installment for the widely successful 'Fifty Shades of Grey' sequel? Sources claim that the erotic film is set to premiere next year but it wasn't immediately revealed which month. But there are also insiders claiming that the next part will be released in March 2016.

'Fifty Shades Darker' is going to chronicle the reunion between Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele after a brief separation following their engagement. The film will also feature the appearance of Mrs. Robinson.
