Lizzie Mcguire, the beloved 90's Disney Channel TV series went off air ten years ago. Terri Minsky, the series' creator, hasn't publicly revealed how she envisioned Lizzie Mcguire after the show wrapped up in 2004, but Hilary Duff has her own ideas of what Lizzie would be doing in 2014.

In an interview published Tuesday, Nov. 25, together with BuzzFeed, Hilary Duff conjectured how Lizzie McGuire, would have fared in 2014, reports Us Magazine.

Duff revealed to BuzzFeed that she recently relocated to Brooklyn. Therefore, the 27-year-old imagined that Lizzie McGuire could have moved to NYC.

"Maybe she'd move to New York for a while, and her parents would probably follow her and rent an apartment secretly," said the "Younger" actress.

"I don't think she'd be married to Gordo (Adam Lamberg). I don't know," she told BuzzFeed. "I think she'd go off to college and potentially become a little cooler than she was, but still not bitchy at all. I think she's just the biggest-hearted girl ever."

The former "Disney Channel" actress portrayed Lizzie McGuire in 65 episodes as well as the lead in the film "The Lizzie McGuire Movie."

As the interview went on, she continued to create a pleasing future for her teenage alter-ego.

"I think she's pretty smart. I can imagine her being on a path to something really special and great, but I feel like she'd still be working her way through the office grind and she'd probably constantly embarrass herself-mishaps in the office all the time," Duff said honestly about Lizzie McGuire.

"She'd probably still be wearing butterfly clips, bringing it back!" she added.

Apparently, Duff is pretty accident-prone, just like her previous character, Lizzie McGuire.

"I'm extremely klutzy in real life. My bathroom constantly looks like a murder scene, because I get out of the bathtub and I've cut my legs, like, eight different times," she said, before adding, "I have scars on my hands because I was just cutting into an English muffin and basically, like, sliced the top of my finger off!"

However, Duff explained and how she is much more coordinated than Lizzie McGuire.

"I'm much more in control of my body than she was, and not, like, physically awkward, you know?" said Duff.

"I think I just move too quickly through things, and then don't pay attention," she added.

Meanwhile, asked about the other cast of the Lizzie McGuire family, Duff admitted doesn't see her old co-stars too often, according to E! News. Hollywood is a small town, however, and Duff mentioned something about seeing "her mom" after bumping into her.

"I remember one time I was plugging my meter outside, and I saw [Hallie Todd], who played my mom on the show, and I was like, 'Oh my God!' I cried on the street," she said. "We all, I think, hold each other in a really special place."

Duff rose to fame as a Disney star after securing the role of Lizzie McGuire. She also talked about her place as a teen idol after releasing her 2003 album "Metamorphosis."

According to Duff, her songs "So Yesterday," "Come Clean," "Why Not," "Wake Up," "What Dreams Are Made Of," and "Fly," were her favorites.

"Maybe "Come Clean" is one of my favorite ones that I continue to listen to," Duff revealed. "I mean, my voice, I feel like I sound like such a baby, but it's just a pretty solid song. It's a good song that has withstood years and years of music changing and all that."

The mother to 2-year-old son Luca also recalled how thrilled she was when the producers of the reality series "Laguna Beach" chose "Come Clean" as their theme song.

"I never got to watch it like everyone else did, but I was very familiar with a lot of episodes and what the storyline was about, and I'd talk about it with my friends," Duff added of the show that chose the Lizzie McGuire actress' song.

"When MTV called to [use my song], I was like, Wait, what? I was confused because reality shows weren't really [a thing], so I was like, I guess I don't know, and I said okay. And then they used another one of my songs for the show Sweet 16, and that was a song my sister [Haylie Duff] and I wrote together - so I was, like, just killin' it on MTV!"

Lizzie McGuire's final episode aired February 2004, when Duff was only 16 years old, and one who is about to begin a film and music career. Now, as 27-year-old, the actress is reportedly heading back to the small-screen for TV Land's "Younger," starring Sutton Foster. The show will premiere Jan. 13, reports the Huffington Post.

"Honestly, filming this show, my heart goes out to Sutton - because, you know, she's in both storylines, she's the star of the show," Duff told Buzzfeed of the show.

"And I remember filming 'Lizzie,' I was in both storylines, and there was basically zero scenes without me in them. And I'm so grateful I usually get a day off a week, and it's nicer with my kid, you know? I'm trying to work on my record and do that, so it's nice to not be so slammed."

A Lizzie McGuire may be set in place soon. In September, Duff said she would be willing to revisit Lizzie's storyline. She told The Huffington Post she'd be open to doing a reunion.

"Why not? I mean, so many people loved her," she said. "I loved her. Honestly, working on that show, I got so strong with my physical comedy and all the things that they would throw at me. I got covered in goo every week, and I got, like, smashed in the face with a locker every single week. ... I mean it was a really, really fun show. And obviously people really loved her. Maybe a 'Lizzie: Where Are You Now?' like 10 years later."
