East Peoria shooting which happened Saturday night just before Father's Day has left three people killed, including the gunman. A report by NBC affiliate WEEK News 25 said the East Peoria shooting happened inside a crowded Fifth Quarter Sports Bar and Pizzeria around 7:50 p.m.  while the East Peoria High School Class of 1999 was holding its high school reunion.

According to authorities, the three people killed during the East Peoria shooting have already been identified. Fortunately, no other injuries have been reported.

According to Peoria County Coroner Johnna Ingersoll, the victims of the East Peoria shooting were 36-year-old Lance E. Griffel of 1611 W Daytona Drive in Peoria and 33-year-old Lori A. Moore of 220 E. Maywood St. in Morton. Ingersoll said that both victims sustained gunshot wounds to the head. Both victims of the East Peoria shooting were pronounced dead in the Emergency Department of OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. Griffel died 11.39 p.m. while Moore at 9.16 p.m. Griffel and Moore's autopsies has been set Monday.

Meanwhile, the gunman of the East Peoria shooting was identified as James A. Moore, a 40-year-old resident of Creve Coeur, reports the Tazewell County Coroner's Office. He was pronounced dead at 10.50 p.m. According to Journal Star, the East Peoria shooting happened due to a domestic dispute since the shooter was one of the victims' ex-husband.

The East Peoria shooting which left three dead occurred as Moore's ex-husband James, exploded at a high school reunion at Fifth Quarter Sports Bar and Pizzeria. James reportedly opened fire and took one shot at each victim which killed them. An off-duty law-enforcement officer stopped the East Peoria shooting incident by shooting James Moore.

East Peoria Police Chief Ganschow said, "It's very difficult to say. You can play the 'what if' game over and over again, but I think it's pretty clear in his case the presence of this officer and his ability to take very quick and very decisive action prevented a further tragedy."

According to Ganschow, there were about 100 witnesses present during the East Peoria shooting and who could provide contact information to police. These witnesses reportedly include some members of the East Peoria High School class of 1999. Ganschow added that while the crime scene has been released, it will remain closed to the public as the investigation is ongoing.

East Peoria shooting is being investigated by the East Peoria Police in collaboration with Tazewell County Sheriff's Office, Illinois State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
