McDonald's plane crash in Monroe has left its 41-year-old pilot injured. The McDonald's plane crash reportedly occurred on Tuesday near a McDonalds restaurant in Louisiana.

Fortunately, despite the fast food joint being normally busy, there was nobody present during the McDonald's plane crash, hence nobody else was injured apart from the pilot.

According to WebProNews, the pilot manipulating the aircraft which caused the McDonald's plane crash has been identified as Michael Ray Martin. Martin allegedly reported the plane having a problem with its fuel moments before the crash. Reports say that Martin was alone in the plane during the McDonald's plane crash.

The McDonald's plane crash took place around 10:40 a.m. as the plane hurtled downwards to the 8000 block of Desiard Street in Monroe. According to The Daily Advertiser, Martin had been airlifted to Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport after he was taken from the scene of the crash. He had "serious injuries" as he arrived in the hospital and now he is reportedly still recovering from injuries which includes a broken leg.

LA Times reports that the plane driven in the McDonald's plane crash was a single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza. It was registered to the WFO Flying Service in Carmi, Illinois. Meanwhile, the NTSB has been notified of the incident and they will reportedly be investigating the exact cause of the McDonald's plane crash.

According to reports, the police have not yet had the opportunity to ask Martin of the incident. As of the moment, they are still unsure where he came from or whether where his final destination was.

The site of the McDonald's plane crash is less than two miles from the Monroe Regional Airport. After the collision, the police have been calling airports near the site in order to find where the plane came from.

According to officials, the plane is and will not be a risk to the public, even as fuel was spotted leaking from it. In the meantime, clean-up crews have already poured sand at the scene of the McDonald's plane crash on order to avoid further leakage of fuel from the plane and possibly catching fire. Until Wednesday morning, the crews have reportedly remained at the scene. They will be trying to remove the plane from the crash site in order to clean the scene up.

McDonald's plane crash have left Monroe residents shocked, however amazed that nobody got hurt. Reports say that residents have been going to the crash site in groups whilst capturing shots of the fallen plane. Meanwhile, investigators are hoping that they could learn more about the incident after speaking with the pilot.
