Deaf man killed by deputy – A 52-year old man from Florida has been shot to death by a Volusia County deputy named Joel Hernandez. The victim named Edward Miller was reportedly deaf and had trouble hearing the instructions stated by Hernandez. Miller had brandished a firearm, which Hernandez immediately saw as a threat causing the deputy to fire shots.
