Delta Airlines Goes Back To The 80s In Their Quirky New Flight Safety Video!

American Airline Delta have come up with what is surely the most genius idea in recent er... flight safety history.

Their new flight safety video is themed around the 1980s, with 80s rockers, neon sportswear, big hair, Teddy Ruxpin and Alf all making an apperance. The company have taken the ordinary, frankly dull, flight safety video (I mean, come on, once you've seen it, do you pay attention ever again?) and injected it with a genius dose of humour.

This is also a great way to hold a viewer's attention during the importan aspect of flight safety to stop them dozing off. Delta's video pokes fun at the attitudes and dress-sense of the decade. Among the no-no's allowed on board are boom boxes, an electric guitar, a car phone and an atari, though you'll be happy to know that Alf and Teddy Ruxpin are strapped safely into their seats for take-off.

Creativity in flight videos is a new trend among airlines, with Air New Zealand's video with Betty White and Virgin America's rap flight safety video.
