Kim Kardashian Net Worth Decreases After A Series Of Unfortunate Events

Dec 26, 2016 04:20 AM EST

The last quarter of 2016 definitely wasn't a good one for Kim Kardashian West. It all started when she was traumatized by being robbed at gunpoint while she was in Paris for Fashion Week in October, and then in November her husband, Kanye West, had a mental breakdown. Add divorce rumors to the mix and that makes one hell of a stressful last quarter for Kim Kardashian West.

Flashback to October, Kim Kardashian West was seen through a series of Instagram photos and snaps on Snapchat that she was having a blast attending Fashion Week with her sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, until one night when she decided to stay in while her sisters go out to check out the night life in Paris.

She was robbed at gunpoint when according to US Weekly, the concierge was able to give the armed men access to her room because they pointed a gun to his head as well. Kim Kardashian West was then gagged and tied up in the bathroom as the armed men left with $11 million worth of jewelry which included the reality star's engagement ring.

The robbery traumatized Kim Kardashian West to the point where she went on a hiatus from social media and has kept really quiet since then. Then in November, her husband, Kanye West suffered a mental breakdown and was hospitalized for stress. The couple then had to deal with divorce rumors amidst their personal struggles, Kim for her robbery trauma and Kanye for his mental stress and depression.

Since the robbery, Kim Kardashian West has had to give up opportunities that would have made her net worth rise, but because she had to deal with her trauma and take care of herself and her family first, she missed out on a lot of business deals which is probably why her net worth has somewhat decreased.

After being on a long hiatus, Kim Kardashian West and husband, Kanye West was seen dining out last December 20, 2016 according to Inquisitr, their very first night out after all the unfortunate events that has happened during the last quarter of this year. The couple obviously wanted to let their fans know that despite their personal traumas and divorce rumors, they are doing okay and they have effectively shut down those pesky divorce rumors!
