“The Vampire Diaries” Couple Stefan Salvatore And Caroline Forbes Gets Engaged, But Will They Make It Until The End?

Steroline shippers are probably very happy right now!

The latest episode of the show titled "Today Will Be Different" showed several revelations plus a very special and romantic scene.

Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) just proposed to Caroline Forbes (Candice King) and it was incredibly romantic, with the Fray song set in the background.

Here's how it happened: Caroline was almost finished moving into Stefan's house when he told her he had a present for her. "You are my family now," Stefan told Caroline before she opened a jewelry box with a gorgeous diamond ring inside it.

E! News said that he didn't get down on one knee, but he did ask his love the very important question: "Caroline Elizabeth Forbes, will you do me the honor of wearing this engagement ring as a token of my love?" he asked, before clarifying without a doubt: "I want you to marry me."

She said yes, of course!

Parent Herald added that King commented about the journey of Steroline on the show's Atlanta set. She said, "They've got a really beautifully bumpy journey so far, but I think fans of that ship, as the kids say, will really enjoy it,"

There are definitely rumors of a few more bumps as Steroline goes down the aisle.

As for Wesley, he wasn't all positive as well. He said they might not be able to stay intact for the full eighth season. "Definitely not intact the entire time, but perhaps towards the end-although that I can't even surmise, because I don't have any inclination as to what the finale will be," he said during on set. "I know there were some discussions about it and we have talked about it a little bit, but I ultimately genuinely don't know what will happen."

Meanwhile, "The Vampire Diaries" airs Fridays at 8 p.m. on The CW.
