Many fans were excited upon the news that there will be a movie featuring a Young Han Solo. Now, while it's currently still untitled, Lucasfilm is rumored to be testing actresses for the female lead role. Fans are speculating that this role might be for a fan-favorite character - Sana Starros.

Nerdist reports that three actresses are currently being screentested for the role. The actresses are reported to be Zoe Kravitz (Divergent), Naomi Scott (Power Rangers), and Tessa Thompson (Dear White People). Basing from their common physical denominators, all signs point to the well-loved character from the comic book series.

The three actresses are said to be part of the second round of screentesting for the female lead, with the first one being held earlier this year. According to Collider, Donald Glover is in the running for the role of young Lando Carlissian.

Given the rich history of the character in the comics, fans are now speculating that the plot of the young Hans Solo film will revolve around the epic yet ill-fated heist done by Sana Starro and Han Solo.

The movie's premiere date is far from near, so the producers have a lot of time to make the decision of who'll be playing the exciting female role. Additionally, the still untitled movie will only go into production early next year.

Nothing has been set in stone yet, except for the actor who will play the coveted role of young Han Solo. The actor taking over Harrison Ford's acting duties is Alden Ehrenheich of "Hail, Caesar!" fame. He was said to have gone a very rigorous audition process, but the directors agree that he was "it" the moment he went inside the audition room. Fans were pleased with this announcement.

The much-awaited movie is slated to premiere on May 25, 2018. In the meantime, fans of the franchise can catch "Rogue One: A Star Wars Movie" in theaters at the end of the year.
