Whitney Houston’s Friend Deborah Cox Is ‘Very Sad’ Of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Condition: 'I Hope For A Miracle'

Whitney Houston's friend Deborah Cox has opened up about her thoughts on the uncertain fate of the late pop diva's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.

The 40-year-old R&B singer-songwriter admitted that she's been thinking of Bobbi since she was found unconscious on Jan. 31.

She also revealed that she's hoping for a miracle to happen amid the very bleak and sad situation.

"It's very sad," Cox said in an interview with Us Weekly. 

The close friend of the late Whitney Houston added, "I've said my prayers. I hope for a miracle."

Cox is part of Lifetime's controversial Whitney Houston biopic. However, she admitted that she is not close with her late friend's family.

"There was a lot of mixed feelings. It is a sensitive thing, but it's a very complex situation," Cox said. "I really just wanted to honor her and this was a way to do that. I've always loved her music so it was a great tribute."

Cox was the one who re-recorded Houston's vocals for the Lifetime biopic.

"I didn't hear anything from the family. There was something between Lifetime and the family that was a bit awkward," Cox added. "But all of us as a team wanted to make sure the music sounded authentic."

Meanwhile, Bobbi Kristina Brown remains to be in critical condition, according to several update reports on her condition. 

The only daughter of Bobby Brown and Houston is still in a coma while her family's feud continues to intensify because of Bobby's resistance to taking the life support off her daughter, according to News Everyday.
