Greece is introducing a new climate tax for tourists, aiming to fight climate change and fix damage from natural disasters. Despite concerns it may deter visitors, Greece expects a big rise in tourism for 2024, with more flights planned.
Over 362,000 Americans with more than $51,000 in tax debts will be denied renewed or new passport under a 2015 law. The law only goes for applications, and not revoking passports from people with outstanding debt.
Tourists traveling to the New Zealand next year will have to spend a little more money to enter the country. The raised funds will help the thinly populated areas in the country who cannot afford to put up infrastructures despite its visitors.
