Ayushman Khurana is dead. At least that's what the Internet saying. However the Indian television anchor, film actor and singer didn't die. He's just the victim of an Internet death hoax. Ayushmann Khurana is just fine.

A report surfaced this week saying that Khurana died in a snowboarding accident. Global Associated News reported "Actor Ayushmann Khurana is reported to have died shortly after a snowboard accident earlier today - April 17, 2013.

The actor & novice snowboarder was vacationing at the Zermatt ski resort in Zermatt, Switzerland with family and friends. Witnesses indicate that Ayushmann Khurana lost control of his snowboard and struck a tree at a high rate of speed.

Ayushmann Khurana was air lifted by ski patrol teams to a local hospital, however, it is believed that the actor died instantly from the impact of the crash. The actor was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and drugs and alcohol do not appear to have played any part in his death."

Since there are so many details to the story, it might be easy to believe that it's real. However the report is false. Global Associated News is a generator that is used to create fake news reports.

A message at the bottom of the site reads: "FAKE... THIS STORY IS 100% FAKE! this is an entertainment website, and this is a totally fake article based on zero truth and is a complete work of fiction for entertainment purposes!"

Khurana isn't dead.  However fans who came across the death report thought it might be true. They took to Twitter to question and mourn the loss. Some examples of tweets include:

" News coming in that young actor Ayushman Khurana died in an accident while skiing in the swiss? Hope it is a rumour! Sigh!"

" Is it true? Ayushman Khurana dead?"

" Wtff..ayushmann khurana ..is dead........in accident"

" #RIP Ayushmann Khurana"

Many celebrities have died in the same exact snowboarding incident. They include Adam Sandler, Denzel Washington, Jim Carrey, and even Arnold Schwarzenegger.
