For those who are following "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" but did not watch or follow the prequel, Shikamaru is a Team 10 member who is lazy, but very intelligent. He is well known for his expression "How troublesome" or "How drag," and now, his son has used that same line, too.

It's a pretty nostalgic day for "Naruto" fans. Shikadai is clearly a chip off the old block. According to ComicBook, Shikamaru always comes up with great last-minute battle strategies, and it looks like he has passed on that characteristic to his son, Shikadai. This was made apparent during the most recent episode of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations."

The last episode showed Shikamaru having a quiet moment with his son. However, when Temari confronted them, the father and son tandem had the same reaction, which made "Naruto" fans crack into a smile. Their look says it all, and even Temari said, "Both of you were just thinking, "What a drag," weren't you?" Shikadai will is also said to have inherited his father's laid back lifestyle.

Meanwhile, Spoilers of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 3 titled "Metal Goes Wild" also revealed that Shikadai will challenge Metal Lee. IGN reported that Shikadai reprimanded Metal for his lack of control of his emotions. Metal was clearly hurt, and he walked away with tears in his eyes.

Shikadai wanted to apologize, but Metal quickly attacks him. Boruto and Inojin came to Shikadai's defense, and Boruto sensed some dark aura - the same aura that had taken over Denki during the premiere episode of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations." This skill may just prove that Boruto is worthy to be his father's successor.

Boruto, Inojin and Shikadai agreed to take down Metal. Thankfully, Metal was able to break out from his "tranced" state, and the friends decided to move on from that event and forgive each other.  "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 4 titled "A Ninjutsu Battle of the Sexes!" is set to be released on April 26.
