After months of hiatus, "Pretty Little Liars" is finally back with the episode "Playtime." The season 7 episode 11 airing starts right after the cliffhanger which ended with some characters' lives hanging in the balance.

Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that the episode begins with Spencer on an ambulance and losing a lot of blood. Toby is also brought to the hospital after his accident. It then skips to a week later with Hanna, while in bed with Caleb, decides that she wants to find Jenna, but Caleb is adamant that she not be out of his sight.

Everyone is then instructed to meet at the barn, where they find a black gift box containing a board game with a perfect replica of Rosewood with the message End Game and signed by none other than A.D.

TV Line reports that the board game also contains a piece representing each girl. Spencer, after hearing from her mother the truth about Mary - that her own father got Mary pregnant after cheating on her mother, decides she wanted to play the game. The game tells her to visit a friend at the hospital. Some fans thought that she would visit Yvonne, who was in a medically-induced coma, but it turned out that she went to Toby. After the visit, Spencer gets a letter from Mary saying that she was not hateful despite being born of a hateful act.

Meanwhile, Emily is caught in a war between Allison and Paige. The former still does not know how she feels about Emily, leading her to tell Ally not to kiss her again. Aria, while planning her wedding even while Ezra keeps seeing Nicole, bumps into Holden at his sister's bridal business.
